Learn from other trainers how to build queries to search the Querydex, a catalogue of over 151 monsters from the common to the legendary. Build up your skills before you assist Professor Moss in completing research quests. You'll use SQL (Structured Query Language), a standard language used to access and manipulate databases. Gotta query them all!
You'll learn to construct basic SQL queries using keywords like SELECT, FROM, and WHERE; filter results with operators such as LIKE, BETWEEN, and IN; and modify values with functions like sum(), count(), and avg(). You'll also learn to sort, limit, and combine query results.
No prior knowledge of SQL or databases is needed, but is a plus.
